Keynote Speaker

We are honored to host Dr. Kelvin Rutledge as our keynote speaker for this year's conference to expand upon his keynote address at our 2024 event. Dr. Kelvin E. Rutledge is a higher education practitioner-scholar with over 15 years of professional experience in customer service management, higher education leadership, and DEI education and strategy development. He currently serves as the Interim Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Southern Connecticut State University. Within his role, he oversees and provides vision and guidance for three student-facing cultural centers, faculty and staff diversity recruitment and retention initiatives, DEI education and restorative practices, and university compliance regarding affirmative action, Title IX and ADA compliance, and nondiscrimination policy.  As a goal-oriented, results-driven professional within the New England region of the United States, he centers and values equity, innovation, and collaboration to meet the needs of individuals and organizations. He earned his masters and doctoral degrees in higher education from Florida State University. 

CPAK Hall of Fame

CPAK is proud to establish the CPAK Hall of Fame Gallery of Outstanding Educators and Professionals to honor and recognize our colleagues in the Commonwealth who have served their respective institutions, the state, region and national associations through leadership and service. This year's Class of 2024 Hall of Fame Members are are recognized each year at CPAK’s annual meeting, including: Brian Buford, Peggy Crowe, Michael Mardis, Kristen Nakamura Wallitsch, and Jason Warren.
