A variety of programs exist across college and university campuses to support students from underrepresented backgrounds and identities. Some of the most successful of these, including federal TRIO programs, intentionally bridge academic and student affairs divisions. As we seek to scaffold the learning experience for diverse populations, we should look to the experiences and lessons learned from colleagues working in programs such as TRIO, including intentional collection of data, grant writing, building cross-campus partnerships, and others. Join us for this panel discussion with Directors of TRIO programs to learn transferable skills and ways to thoughtfully and strategically build opportunities on our campuses for underrepresented students. This discussion is intended for participants from both structured grant-funded programs and additional institutional contexts such as academic units, student affairs offices, and others. This webinar is presented by ACPA's Commission for Academic Affairs (CAA) in partnership with the Commission for Academic Support in Higher Education (CASHE).
