Approximately 2,500 members and guests attend ACPA Annual Convention each year! Every Convention experience is different and each Convention Planning Team works hard to ensure a unique and personalized experience for every attendee.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to qualify for member rates, membership with ACPA must be valid through 19 February 2025. You must have your own individual membership. ACPA Members who purchase a Convention Registration understand their membership needs to be active through 19 February 2025. If it is not active prior to the start of the 2025 Convention you will not be provided with your Convention credential unless you renew your membership or pay the difference between the non-member and member registration cost. (Member will be required to enter their initials at the time of registration to signify their agreement and understanding).

Whether in the classroom, in the co-curriculum, or in student employment scenarios, higher education professionals are constantly in a position to teach students new information. But how can educators make that information come to life? Storytelling can be an effective way to keep students engaged while offering concrete examples of concepts in action. This session will introduce participants to a framework for intentionally developing stories and narratives that can help students bridge theory and practice.
Annual Gathering Of Indigenous Student Affairs Professionals

This gathering brings together Indigenous practitioners working in Student Affairs, whether from Indigenous units or elsewhere in their institutions, to explore current opportunities and challenges facing Indigenous students, staff and faculty. This session offers an opportunity for Indigenous practitioners and scholars at all career stages to connect, learn from each other and reflect on the work that has been done and the work still to be done.
