With the rapid integration of AI into higher education, we are faced with a variety of considerations for how to most seamlessly integrate this tool into our work. This session will explore the use of AI in academic affairs on campus, including broader implications around risk management, student privacy, and safety and security, in addition to more local decisions around catering to the specific needs of different work environments and organizational units. This webinar is presented in partnership by ACPA's Commissions for Academic Affairs (CAA) and Academic Support in Higher Education (CASHE).

As a result of participating in this webinar, attendees will:

  • Gain understanding of important planning questions they should consider, at a broader-level organizational perspective, when thinking about options for integrating AI.

  • Learn about specific examples of how AI is currently being implemented in academic affairs in order to better serve students and streamline work.
