The ACPA-Michigan Chapter is excited to announce its 2026 Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Drive-In Conference, which will take place at Siena Heights University in Adrian, MI on Friday, 15 May 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern. This conference will bring together members of our regional community for learning, connection, and dialogue centered on justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in higher education.Our theme this year is: Cultivating Hope and Belonging: Empowering Communities to Thrive, encouraging attendees to "find their people" and work toward a better tomorrow.

ACPA-MI invites students, faculty, and professionals are invited to submit a program proposal now through March 22nd. More information about the conference schedule, and transportation and lodging, are forthcoming, but register now to save the date and hold your spot.

Keynote Speaker

Nicholas Lamar Wright, Ph.D., is a champion of social justice, inclusion, belonging, & accessibility. He is a nationally recognized, award-winning higher education leader, scholar, and practitioner who excels at making connections and building inclusive cultures. Dr. Wright identifies as a multiracial (Black/White) man who graduated from the University of Louisville with a Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling and Personnel Services, with a specialization in College Student Personnel. He is currently the Assistant Vice President of Diversity at Gonzaga University. Dr. Wright also serve as at the Chair for Racial Justice Strategies on the ACPA Leadership Council (2025-2027).
